Enzo - you will nearly always get more money if you add a site. If you can get traffic, then this adds more value and if you can monetize and then turn a profit then this adds even more value as you are now selling a business

Really enjoyed this video series Kenny. I have had a look around the DN forum, many of the domains are valued on name. Does this mean a better strategy for selling high PR domains would be by adding a site to them and then selling them on flippa? Love to hiear your thoughts on this.

Love the video... actually just in the process of selling my first domain on flippa (should have it listed Monday or Tuesday).

Will give it a go and let you know the results when we next chat.

Love your work.

Thanks Kenny, yes it was helpful and is something I could do.
But what I originally understood about using aged domains is that if you do a permanent 301 redirect from the aged domain to a newish site, the new site will acquire the age and PR benefits. Was that correct or not?

If you are looking for link juice then the best option would be to set up a wordpress blog on the domain. If the site (or something you happen to post!) is relevant to your money site then it is perfectly ethical to pass a link to the money site, therefore passing link juice. Just make sure the content on the blog is good quality and you are providing a good user experience. If you look at RBSIF.co.uk, this is a business finance arm of a massive UK bank (Royal Bank of Scotland) and this has links pointing to it from it's sister companies Natwest and Royal Bank of Scotland. Is this ethical? Absolutely. If you feel your money site is going to benefit the reader of your blog then it would be a dis-service not to link to it. Just remember to provide good quality content throughout. Hope this helps

Hi Kenny, Got here via link from a Chad Kimball email, looks interesting stuff. Will probably join the DN Forum in the future (will use your link)
I ourchased an aged domain from the $5 GoDaddy auctions a few weeks ago. It was a good deal - PR3, age 2004 with a Dmoz and Yahoo link. I then did a redirect to my new london dating site hoping to pass on the goodness. the redirect is now working. Question: was this a good idea or was I badly advised? and if it is OK how long will it for Google to pass on the benefits?
